London Dock - Block G

For the London Dock project, we supplied approximately 3,100 m² of Coverock V mineral wool insulation for installation behind spandrel panels within the curtain wall void. Delivered over a 4-month programme, the project required a carefully planned supply approach to ensure material availability remained aligned with the pace of façade installation.

Our involvement began at an early stage of the project, where we supported the specification process with technical input and product guidance to help identify the most suitable insulation solution for the required application. Working closely with the client and project team, we provided relevant calculations, technical assessments and product information to support the design process and help ensure the selected solution aligned with the project requirements.

The project was delivered through 7 full-load deliveries, coordinated closely with the site team to maintain continuity of supply and support the overall construction programme. Careful scheduling and regular communication were essential to ensure the right volumes of material arrived on site at the right time, helping to minimise unnecessary storage while keeping installation works moving efficiently.

Our role therefore extended well beyond material supply. From early-stage specification support and technical assessment through to delivery planning and ongoing site coordination, we remained involved throughout the project to provide practical support as requirements developed. This collaborative approach helped create a smoother transition from specification to installation and ensured that both technical and logistical considerations were addressed throughout the programme.

London Dock is a strong example of how early technical involvement, the right product selection and well-coordinated logistics can support the successful delivery of a complex façade project.
