ICON Stevenage Project

For the ICON Stevenage project, comprising 7 residential buildings in Stevenage, we supplied Coverock V mineral wool insulation for a behind-the-brick application. Delivered over a 12-month programme, the project required far more than product supply alone. It called for consistent coordination, reliable logistics, and close collaboration with the site team throughout the construction phase.

Over the course of the project, we completed more than 50 full-load deliveries, ensuring continuous material availability in line with the build programme. Given the scale and duration of the development, effective logistics planning and day-to-day coordination were essential to maintaining progress on site and supporting the contractor’s programme.

Our involvement also included specification support, site support, and ongoing cooperation with the site team to help manage logistics and respond to the practical demands of the project as works progressed. This collaborative approach helped ensure that the insulation solution was not only specified correctly, but also delivered and supported efficiently throughout the full duration of the build.

ICON Stevenage is a strong example of how material supply can be combined with technical and logistical support to add value across a large residential development.
